The Department of Energy is updating its PFAS Research and Development (R&D) capabilities plan.

The purpose of this event is to share PFAS R&D research efforts, capabilities, perspectives, and challenges among National Laboratories, select Federal & non-Federal PFAS R&D organizations to assist with development of an updated DOE PFAS Research Plan. The objectives are:

• Identify DOE National Laboratory PFAS R&D capabilities
• Address PFAS R&D gap areas
• Identify possible opportunities for collaborative efforts with other Federal Agencies and non-Federal entities
• Establish DOE PFAS research priorities
• Address PFAS challenges at DOE sites
• Facilitate initiation of R&D efforts where funding is available
• Update the Initial DOE PFAS Research Plan as per deliverable under the DOE PFAS Roadmap
